The Changing Face of Typographic Design
A 9"x12" lecture series poster about three monospace typefaces.
This four color poster series describes the aesthetic and utilitarian duality of monospace type. The expressive, busy type treatment for "The Changing Face" describes this transition. I drew from the controlled and organized quality of the three typefaces to list the lecture details.
A four color overprint technique builds up the lecture series information and the type treatment.
DIY Futures
Twenty-four 2.5"x 4" playing cards and 2.5"x 4" book of envelopes.
These "playing cards" are designed to encompass classes, extracurriculars, and other opportunities that I want to complete during my time at SAIC. This way I can organize and visualize what I want to work on each semester. They include instructors, seasons, class descriptions, etc.
Below: The cards are designed to fit within a handmade book of envelopes. This way I can organize them into pockets for each respective season and semester.
