This hand-bound hardcover publication is a re-telling of “Tlön, Uqbar, Orbis Tertius”, a short story by Jorge Borges. Borges begins to uncover the hidden world of Tlön after discovering a lost chapter in a copy of the Anglo-American Encyclopedia. He becomes obsessed with unraveling this highly elaborate third world, or Orbis Tertius. The IBM punch card motif recontextualizes this story to evoke the beginnings of the information age.
