A website and mobile app to document burial and ancestry information.

Necropolis is a data repository where users can upload, save, share, and edit burial information and view interactive family trees. It operates on a dual navigation system where users can view information spiritually, for exploration and research, or materially, for geographic details. The design system was developed around the goal of making a tonally sensitive yet neutral experience. The user demographic for burial information can range from those remembering their loved ones, to those conducting historical research, so the site needs to reflect those different needs.

A mobile app was developed to solve the massive missed opportunity that comes with desktop geolocation. There was no way to build a route and bring it with you.
